Thanks to everyone who participated in the 2006 Millcreek Mile. The weather cooperated and the kids had fun–what more can we ask? And can you believe how many talented kids we have in the area? It looks like the Skyline Cross Country/Track program should be in good shape for years to come.

Many people asked during the race which school won the participation contest. That is an interesting question. Two years ago, in the first year of the Millcreek Mile, Upland Terrace had the most pre-registrations but lost to a superior turnout from Morningside. Last year Upland Terrace turned the tables by winning after trailing in pre-registrations. This year Upland had the most kids sign by a large margin…but also had the most no-shows. The winner? Morningside by a 26 - 23 margin!!
