Congratulations on a great home meet. The girls team won their race with a perfect score of 15 points, and Shalaya Kipp set a new campus course record with a time of 14:28. Shalaya’s time is 1:17 seconds faster than her previous course record set in 2006! The boys won their meet as well, just barely missing a perfect score of their own. Gamechu Goesse won in a time of 13:15, and the team managed to finish out the race with a 1 - 5 gap of only 30 seconds! Check back later for photos.

Everyone did a great job at Bob Firman! Both the boys and the girls teams are progressing nicely toward fantastic region and state meets. I slept through my alarm, where’d summer go?

It’s hard to believe but we’ve already plunged into the season. Last week we survived our first crazy big invitational at BYU! Good job to everyone who ran and watched, I’m really proud of this team! By the time Region comes we’re gonna to be on fire! (unless coach teaches us not to play with matches.)

Let’s keep putting our shoes on early in the morning and showing our teammates what we ate for lunch in the afternoons.
