Skyline XC Strength Program Starts This Week!
Hello XC Team! I’m going to start strength training this week on Thursday at 3 p.m. For this first session we will meet at the Skyline track so I can test you in a 10 meter sprint in order to get your maximum speed. The reason we’re doing this is that one purpose of the program is to increase your top end speed. By testing you now and again at the end of the summer, I will be able to gauge your improvement. In addition to the speed testing, I will bring a lightweight bar in order to start teaching you proper lifting form. See you at the track!
