So last week was the State meet. The top finishes were Steve who took first with a time of 15:23 and Shalaya who took second and ran 18:28. Our teams had their best finishes ever (at least I assume so) with the girls placing second and the boys placing third. Both teams worked very hard this year and it paid off with the great finishes. To round off the girls top five we had Rachel in 14th with a time of 19:40, Taylor in 26th place with a time of 19:54, Rebekah in 28th place with a time of 19:56, and Megan in 32nd place with a time of 20:05. The rest of the boys top five were Morgan in 11th with a time of 16:28, Thatcher in 25th with a time of 16:52, Gamichue in 43rd with a time of 17:13, and Ben in 48th with a time of 17:21.

The banquet is on Monday, November 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Meeting House. (4120 S. Highland Drive) It’s for team members and parents and is $16 per person. If you haven’t paid yet make sure you get your money to the Skyline bookstore. Bring your receipt to Coach Porter or the Captains to let us know you will be coming.

Good job everyone ans remember we have a meeting in Coach Porter’s room tommorow (Monday) after school!
