Stephen Clark made school history this year by becoming the first Skyline Eagle to become a Footlocker Finalist. Steve won his spot on the West team on December 1st by finishing in 3rd place in the seeded heat of the Footlocker West Regional Championship. With that finish he became a member of the 10 man squad to represent the West Region and the Footlocker National Championship held on December 8th. At Nationals Steve ran well and finished in 12th place.

Steve wasn’t the only Eagle to run well at Footlocker West. Gamechu Goesse bested 143 other boys to win the Sophomore Boys race. Other medal winners were Rachel Webb in the Senior Girls race (11th place) and Thatcher Olson in the Senior Boys race (9th place.)
