Welcome to the New runSkyline!
Welcome to the new runSkyline.com. It is still under construction, but the redesign should give it a more professional, consistent look compared to the previous version. Significantly, the conversion to a blog format will allow more people the opportunity to get involved, perhaps creating something of an online community centered around the Skyline track and cross country programs. Previously I was the only person who posted articles. Now I can set others up as contributors, and any reader can post comments about the articles.
I’ll keep posting and I hope to get the coaches to pitch in with articles about training, news, events, etc. But, I’m also looking for some athletes and boosters who would like to be runSkyline bloggers. Posts can be about the team or school, of course, but also anything else you think might be interesting. If you would like to contribute, please email me.
Soon you will notice an ad for Eastbay on the front page—I’ll also be adding additional ads in the future. They will all be fundraisers for the track program at Skyline. If you visit the advertisers by clicking on the ads, the track team will earn a commission on any purchases you make. If there is a web commerce site that you already frequent, please let me know. I’ll try setting up a relationship so you can earn money for the team while you shop!
The website will still have the ever popular Gallery. Unfortunately, the previous comments and rankings were lost in the transition. I should have all the old photos back up soon, and we’ll be adding more as the season goes on. If you would like to contribute photos, please let me know and I will set you up so you can upload them directly.
Oh.…one more thing. GO EAGLES!
