August 7th-12th
MON: 35 min hill run (we are going up to Dog Lake as a team- meet at Skyline at 7 a.m.)
TUES: 45 min recovery
WED: 4×1000 meter repeats (we are going to Brighton Ski Resort- meet at Skyline at 7 a.m.)
THURS: 30 min recovery
FRI: 2x 1.5 mi tempo run ( we are going to Liberty Park- meet at Skyline at 7 a.m.)
SAT: 60 min long run
AUGUST 14th-19th
MON: 40 min hill run (millcreek canyon)
TUES: 35 min recovery
WED: 12×400 meter repeats (MEET AT SUGARHOUSE PARK AT 7 a.m. at the SOCCER FIELDS)
THURS: 40 min recovery
FRI: 45 min Fartlk 10×30 sec pushes
SAT: 65 min long run
AUGUST 21st-26th
MON: 40 min fast run (75% effort)
TUES: 40 min recovery
WED: PRE-SEASON TIME TRIAL MEET (meet at SKYLINE AT 1:20 p.m.- don’t be late, you’ll miss the bus)
THURS: 40 min recovery and 10 striders (striders are just where you run about 50 meters with a long stride)
FRI: 30 min EASY
SAT: AMERICAN FORK GRASS RELAYS MEET (be at SKYLINE at 6:30 A.M.- don’t be late, you’ll miss the bus)
